ABOUT

LincSpun International

Innovation begins with the yarn.

At LincSpun International Ltd, we develop yarn and fabric technologies that bring together natural comfort, refined aesthetics and practical performance. We work with brands, spinners and fabric manufacturers to turn fibre combinations into textiles designed for the way people live, work and move.

Founded by Jean-Michel Libeau, the creator of the LincSpun spinning method, our business is built on a belief that better textiles begin with thoughtful engineering at the yarn level.

Our Technology

LincSpun technology combines staple fibres with two continuous filaments in a composite yarn structure. This approach creates opportunities to balance softness, strength, stability and appearance, while tailoring the yarn to its intended application.

From merino wool and cotton to regenerated cellulosic fibres and specialist filaments, we explore how different materials can work together. Each development begins with a purpose: the feel of a luxury garment, the demands of activewear or the durability required for upholstery and workwear.

Introducing Trimerpro

Trimerpro brings merino wool and cupro filaments together through LincSpun technology, opening a new direction for contemporary luxury fabrics.

Developed for woven and knitted applications, Trimerpro combines the natural character of merino with the smooth touch and subtle lustre of cupro. Our focus is on fabrics with beautiful drape, a refined handle and versatility across tailoring, dresses, separates and elevated everyday garments.

Collaboration from Fibre to Fabric

We work with an international network of textile partners, connecting yarn development with spinning, fabric construction and garment design. Alongside our 44.7 South innovation activities, we help customers explore materials, develop samples and refine concepts through testing.

Every project has different priorities. We collaborate closely with our partners to develop yarns and fabrics around their design vision, manufacturing requirements and performance targets.
